More Than Cleaning. A Managed Service.
Your cleaning should be one less thing for your management team to worry about. We take on the supervision, communication and follow-up, so your team isn't left chasing.
Many of our commercial clients have been with us for three, four or even five years. During that time, their managers and staff may have changed — sometimes more than once — but our service remains consistent.
When a client's management changes, we request a formal handover between the outgoing and incoming manager. This allows us to understand any new requirements from day one and adjust the cleaning schedule to match their revised specification.
Cleaning for the way your premises operate
Regular commercial cleaning is the foundation of our service, with specialist and one-off cleaning available whenever your premises need it. Every schedule is built around how your business actually operates.

Real work, real results
Entrance deep clean — letting agency, Oadby
- Site
- Ground-floor entrance of a letting and sales agency, high daily footfall from staff and visitors.
- Challenge
- Hard-wearing tiled flooring had built up ingrained dirt over time from regular traffic, visible as a persistent grey-black discolouration that routine cleaning hadn't shifted.
- What we did
- A deep clean of the flooring to lift embedded dirt and restore it to its original colour and finish.
- Result
- Flooring restored to its original light tone, photographed on completion.
Communal area deep clean — high-rise residential building, Oadby
- Site
- Communal lobby, stairwell and landing areas of a multi-storey, high-rise residential building with high foot traffic.
- Challenge
- The existing cleaning contractor had become unreliable, with visits regularly missed. Window sills, ledges and communal surfaces had built up dirt and dust as a result, and we were brought in to bring the building back up to standard.
- What we did
- A full deep clean of the communal lobby, stairwell, landings and window areas, carried out over a single extended visit.
- Result
- Communal areas restored to a clean, presentable standard throughout the building.
Kitchen deep clean — school, Leicestershire
- Site
- Commercial kitchen within a school, following building works carried out for the local council.
- Challenge
- We were subcontracted by the building contractor, who had been appointed by the council to replace the kitchen's ceiling, roof and fire doors. The work left dust and debris from sanding over every surface, including the burners, extraction canopies, worksurfaces and floors. The contractor's existing cleaning arrangement had let them down, and we were brought in at short notice, found through a Google search.
- What we did
- A full deep clean of the kitchen to remove the dust and debris, including the burners, extraction canopies, ductwork, worksurfaces, equipment and floors, completed to the contractor's timescale so the kitchen could reopen on schedule.
- Result
- The kitchen reopened on schedule, cleaned to a high standard. The contractor has continued to use our services since, based on our reliability, consistency and promptness.
Post-refurbishment clean — primary school, Devon
- Site
- A primary school in Devon, which had undergone a full refurbishment of its ceilings, fire doors and electrical wiring throughout the building.
- Challenge
- We were subcontracted to carry out the full post-refurbishment clean of the kitchen, hallway, main hall and classrooms, with the school due to reopen to pupils and staff on the Tuesday after the holidays.
- What we did
- A full three-day clean of the entire school, working over the bank holiday weekend to meet the school's opening deadline.
- Result
- The school reopened on time, fully cleaned and ready for pupils and staff.
Emergency leak clean-up — HMO, Leicester
- Site
- A student HMO in Leicester, holding keys provided directly by the landlord.
- Challenge
- A leak above the property required a plumber to bring part of the ceiling down to locate it, leaving the carpet covered in debris and dust. The landlord needed it resolved quickly, with students still living in the property.
- What we did
- We attended the next day to clear the debris and carry out an initial clean of the carpet, then returned the following day for a full deep clean of the affected area, minimising disruption to the students living there.
- Result
- The property was fully restored within two days, with students able to continue living there throughout.
Long-term office contract — solicitors' firm, Leicester
- Site
- A solicitors' firm in the heart of Leicester, across three floors of communal areas and offices.
- Challenge
- The client needed a dependable, out-of-hours weekly clean across all three floors that wouldn't disrupt staff or clients during the day — including, for part of the contract, the enhanced sanitisation of touchpoints required during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- What we did
- A weekly out-of-hours clean of communal areas and offices across all three floors, maintained consistently throughout the contract, with full touchpoint sanitisation added in line with public health guidance during the pandemic.
- Result
- The client used our services continuously from just before the pandemic until the firm closed and relocated.

Questions we're usually asked
Do you visit before quoting?
For regular contract cleaning, yes — we assess the premises first, so the quote reflects your actual requirements. For one-off work such as end-of-tenancy, move-out or builders' cleans, where the person arranging it isn't always local, we're also able to quote from photos and a report or details you or your agent provide. Either way, your quote is provided in writing.
Are your cleaners employed directly?
Yes. Routine cleaning is carried out by directly employed staff rather than a subcontracted workforce.
Are cleaning staff DBS checked?
Cleaning team members are enhanced DBS checked. This is one part of how we manage who works in your premises.
Who do I contact if there is a problem?
You'll have direct contact with our management team, so issues are raised with someone responsible for your site.
Can the cleaning plan change?
Yes. If your hours, staffing, layout or requirements change, we review the specification and adjust it.
Can you clean outside of business hours?
Yes. Early morning, evening and fully out-of-hours cleaning can all be arranged, so cleaning doesn't interrupt your working day.
How do I get hold of someone if there's an issue?
You'll have direct contact with our management team by phone or email — not a call centre or automated menu.
Can you clean healthcare or school premises?
Yes. We'll discuss your environment, priorities and any requirements you work to during the site assessment.
What insurance do you hold?
We hold £10 million public liability insurance.

Terms and Conditions
Sparkle My Business Ltd · Company no. 14648770 · Registered office: 167 Glen Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 4RH, UK
These terms apply to use of our website and to the commercial cleaning services we provide. By using our website or engaging us, you agree to these terms, which are governed by the law of England and Wales.
1. Website use
Content on this website is for general information and does not form part of any contract unless expressly stated. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. You may not misuse this website, and intellectual property on it belongs to Sparkle My Business Ltd or our licensors unless stated otherwise.
2. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry doesn't create a contract between us. A written quote follows a site assessment for regular contract cleaning, or, for one-off work such as end-of-tenancy, move-out and builders' cleans, a review of photos and details you or your agent provide where a visit isn't practical. Quotes are valid for the period stated (or 30 days if none is stated) and are based on the information and access provided at the time; if your premises or requirements change, the specification may need revising. We may decline to quote for, or provide services to, any enquiry at our discretion.
3. Our services
Once a quote is accepted, we agree a written cleaning specification covering scope, frequency and standard of cleaning. Services are carried out by our directly employed, trained team, with enhanced DBS checks carried out where relevant to the environment. We aim to deliver a consistent, managed service with site-specific instructions, management oversight and quality checks. If standards fall short of what's agreed, tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right — see Section 7. Requirements can change over time; we'll adjust your specification as needed, with any change in price agreed in advance.
4. Access, equipment and site conditions
You agree to provide safe, reasonable access at the agreed times, including keys, codes or site inductions where needed, and to tell us about known hazards or site-specific health and safety requirements in advance. Equipment we supply remains our property and shouldn't be used by anyone outside our team.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are set out in your written quote or agreement. Invoices are payable within the terms stated on the invoice; late payment may be subject to statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We may suspend services if payment is significantly overdue and unresolved after reasonable notice.
6. Cancellation and changes to service
Either party may cancel an ongoing arrangement with the notice period set out in your service agreement. One-off or periodic cleans may be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable notice; a late-cancellation charge may apply as set out in your quote or agreement. We may need to reschedule due to circumstances outside our control (weather, illness, access issues) and will give as much notice as possible.
7. Raising an issue
If you're not satisfied with any aspect of the service, contact us as soon as possible on sparklemybusinessltd@gmail.com or 0116 271 0422 so we can look into it and put things right — which may include a re-clean or a review of the specification.
8. Liability
We hold public liability insurance; details are available on request. We take reasonable care in providing our services but don't accept liability for losses that aren't a direct result of our negligence or breach of contract, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can't be limited under English law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the relevant cleaning contract in the 12 months prior to the claim, except where contrary to law.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared in the course of the relationship, and to use it only to deliver or receive the cleaning service.
10. General
These terms, together with your written quote and any agreed cleaning specification, make up the entire agreement between us. If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available on our website. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Modern Slavery Statement
Sparkle My Business Ltd · Company no. 14648770 · Registered office: 167 Glen Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 4RH, UK
Sparkle My Business Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to taking a proactive approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our own business and across our supply chains. A statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is a legal requirement only for organisations with annual turnover of £36 million or more; we publish this voluntarily, as good practice in a sector where exploitation of low-paid labour is a recognised risk.
Our business
We provide commercial and clinical cleaning services across Leicester and the surrounding areas. Our cleaning team is directly employed, not supplied through subcontractors or agency labour, giving us direct oversight of who works for us and how they are treated.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains mainly involve the purchase of cleaning products, equipment, uniforms and consumables from UK suppliers. We expect suppliers to operate lawfully and treat their own workers fairly, and will review supplier relationships where concerns are raised.
Our policies and practices
- Direct employment of all routine cleaning staff, rather than subcontracted or agency labour.
- Right-to-work checks carried out for all team members before they start work.
- Enhanced DBS checks carried out where relevant to the environment.
- Fair pay in line with, or above, National Minimum/Living Wage requirements, paid directly to each team member.
- Any team member, client or supplier can raise a concern in confidence with our management team at sparklemybusinessltd@gmail.com.
Training and awareness
Our management team is aware of the signs of modern slavery and labour exploitation relevant to the cleaning sector and will act on any concern raised.
Looking ahead
As the business grows, we will continue to review this statement and our practices, and formalise further policies as appropriate to our size and supply chain.
Let's look at your premises
Tell us a little about your premises. For regular cleaning contracts, we'll arrange a site visit; for one-off work such as end-of-tenancy or builders' cleans, we can also quote from photos or a report where a visit isn't practical. Either way, you'll receive a written quote.
